Takashi is the main protagonist of INFERNAL - LUCIFER SOUL. He was once a soft-hearted boy but became a half-demon after being partially possessed by Lucifer The 2nd, the pure-hearted son of Lucifer, while witnessing the blood moon.
Background
Takashi grew up in Osaka, Japan. He lived with Mr Izanagi, his grandfather, and had an imaginary friend, Kito (Lucifer The 2nd disguised as a cute chibi version of himself). As a child, Takashi had few friends until he met Rin Harakawa at preschool. Rin would later become his lifelong friend, though she moved to Tokyo in sixth grade. Kito remained Takashi’s only companion.
In grade 10, Takashi attended the Blood Moon Festival with Mr Izanagi. Lucifer The 2nd tried to warn him not to look at the blood moon, but Takashi gazed at it. Before any demon could fully possess him, Lucifer The 2nd partially possessed Takashi. This triggered a chain of events where people nearby were possessed, and Takashi transformed into his demon form, unintentionally killing them. He fled home, later escaping to Tokyo to avoid the JSDF, and would eventually reunite with Rin.
Personality
Takashi is pure-hearted, kind, and gentle, but the Blood Moon incident and Lucifer The 2nd’s influence made him more rowdy and arrogant at times. Despite this, he retains his humanity and compassion.
